I encounter many people every month who have lost their income because of being laid off due to many reasons such as down sizing, or two twenty’s equal one 40 and many companies just not able to stay afloat.
In 2009 an article came out in the New York Times titled “U.S. Job Seekers Exceed Openings by Record Ratio”. Things seem to improve a little then head back, watching a graph of the unemployment market is like watching a graph on the stock exchange. The purpose of this blog is to look at where we, the over 50 are at and what we can do about being unemployed. Here is a graph of the current year of the Unemployment ratio.
